Ordered a cake a couple days ago for my daughter’s birthday. I go to pick it up and the bakery has no idea what I’m talking about and can’t find my cake. They reach out to the manager (Tamera I believe) and she comes around to let me know that I did put the order in and they gave me an option for a sheet cake or two tiered like I had ordered. I went with the sheet cake since the really nice women told me I could add a picture. I thought I’d be able to also get a discount since I waited about 45 minutes to get my cake. I go to check out and Tamera is in the other line and declines the discount due to me choosing the bigger cake. That’s fair. My only issue is there wasn’t an apology whatsoever from her. I did my due diligence with ordering the cake in advance. The least she could have done was apologize for the inconvenience.
This store location is the best! There is always a great selection of items and we’ve found the staff to be extremely helpful. They go out of their way to try and help the customers - this is true for us as well as something we’ve witnessed while shopping there multiple times! Story is also very clean and well stocked.
Friendly employees, well-stocked, fair prices, and the only problem really is is they really need new shopping carts of all the shopping cards the rubber from the wheels has worn down. Way too many or just worn down to the plastic hub of the shopping wheel tires.
Update they finally got new carts. Now they need to fix their extremely spotty WiFi. Spots in the store where it just goes out and phone left on spin. Not great considering a lot of customers use the BJs app.
McDonald at the front door is always very sweet. Also an associate Leslie is always extremely helpful.
Ive never had any issues at this store. Some younger staff may be a little attitude-y but whatever, we all have our days.
I haven't been there in many years. The product selection seems to have improved, but I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of organic or gluten-free options.
